The Ancient Matriarch Elephant lumbers towards the waterhole. Each ponderous step thunders, to her each movement is made gingerly as the pain in her joints remind her of her great age and weight. Soon my journey will be over.
But no! I have only just got out of bed, I wash my face and peer blearily at the mirror. Why did I agree to have a mirror above the basin, oh well at least I’m not wearing my glasses. It’s been 3 minutes even for me it’s too soon for a nap.

Noooooooooooo! I have to face my children again. We had a nice talk last night; so one hates me, one hates her, one hates herself and the other has gone to visit a friend. Fun times ahead!

If I write these thoughts in a blog it will delay having to speak to my family. And if you remember I’m being paid for this now; justification!
Now I can mess about with pictures for half an hour before I have to listen to the morning tirades.
The matriarch elephant settles down to face the herd, raises her mighty trunk and thumps it down on her eldest daughter’s head.

“Shut up. I’m blogging!”
