New Computer

This is the introduction of my new computer, Baron the flying Ace.  Between a working computer and the end of some stuff, I am hoping to return to blogging.

Quick news, NDIA season, that time of the year where we disabled people are ritually humiliated in return for only a small cut in therapy funding is half over, Tabby child number 3 is in education limbo; asked not to return to school but no path forward, Gavin is in diagnosis limbo with the diagnosing psychiatrist uncontactable and the referring psychiatrist on leave.  Life continues dark.

Alex was published in an Anthology!!!!

Headache building, must leave now!  Luv you guys!

      Tabitha freezes and won’t communicate when she is stressed, she was stressed so often by the emotionally confronting content in her upper school English classes that between not attending and being sent home on medical grounds she missed too much school. Her school applied to have her exempted from English as she reached graduation level 4 years ago but the education department mandates all students must be physically present in English class for a certain amount of time in all mainstream schools. The only way to get out of it is a special needs school. The school fears the emotional damage they will be forced to inflict on her will break her so suggested she not return. But there is not a clear path forward so we are looking into the alternatives when the relevant authorities get back from their Christmas breaks.

        I’m so sorry to hear that. I imagine she’s also getting stressed about her school situation, poor thing. I would think that there is some kind of alternative to being forced to go to English class – testing out or something. But I’m guessing your bureaucracy is like ours – logic doesn’t really enter the equation, only rules. I hope things work out
