I need to own stuff.
Well actually even poor not famous people need to own stuff. What I mean is I need to stop childishly making up cards and thingies with pictures I find on the internet. So I went to Graphic Stock and Pixabay and bought pictures to decorate my weird cards and stuff.
Ta Dah:
And then I had to make something to show, that something had my approval, this one has been on my blog before.
But then Gavin had made a beautiful photo book for his father and ordered it through Kmart and SnapFish and he was completely baited and switched on the time it would be delivered. His Dad’s 70th and we went all out expensive, but instead of 3 to 5 days it was going to be 3 to 5 weeks. Absolutely useless and we only found out 7 days after it was ordered leaving us 3 days to fix up something. So I copied his desired designs for each of the 28 pages, put backgrounds and emblems and things and used a much nicer font. Laminated and spiral bound it wasn’t too bad. But I was an hour late to the 2 hour party because it took over 14 hours for my old computer and touchy printer to print 28 A3 pages of photos.

But while I was doing that I realised we did not have our own fake trademark thingie and the book was crying out for one. So I made it. Here it is:
Why did I tell you this today? Because preparing to blog today I got completely sidetracked. I found an old Debating Tips Book file that I had made for Alex over 10 years ago with my primitive old methods. So I dressed it up with Word stuff, Pixabay and Graphic Stock photos and now I’m going to laminate and bind it.
I had already promised to find it for; no not Natasha who has started debating.
No she refuses to read some stupid book written by her MOTHER. A friend’s child who is nice and grateful is starting debating at a new school this year. I know she will be polite and smile then lose it in her room so I will never know she thinks its stupid. Like a well behaved child.
Off I go now to reprint the pages that printed without pictures.
See you soon,
Lisa the Loon.
that looks like an awesome book. dont feel bad if she doesnt read it, you can put it next to the book i wrote that she wont read either: https://codeinfig.files.wordpress.com/2016/05/figbook10chdraft.pdf
at least yours is ready to print. i put page 1 and 2 on the same page, 3 and 4 on the same page, etc. theres no way thats ready for binding! if i ever clean up the intro (which is terrible stuff, i posted a reworked version of intro through chapter 7 the blog) the idea was to rework it so that it could be printed double-side and stapled in the middle of the paper.
while im at it, i might want to convert it to a4. either way ive got plenty of things to do that dont involve the best book on fig programming ever written 🙂
