I know you’re kinda peckish mate
Let’s head down to the fence!
Our replacements think they rate,
But hell do they look tense!
They’re whizzing past at top speed,
Stealing all our jobs!
While we relax ‘n have a feed
And yell out they are knobs!
But eat up mate so they can see
How the other half lives;
No rush cos all our time is free,
Time to enjoy what nature gives!
Just jumped up little carriages,
Now driving on their own!
With noise and foul smelling barrages!
Well at least we can stay home!

I wish I’d got a picture of the two horses smirking eye deep in grass watching the cars go by this morning. Thanks for visiting!

Those horses have got a thing or two about noisy and polluting cars. Ha ha. Cute little poem, Lisa. I noticed your joke about being sent to spam in a comment. Sometimes, new people to your blog get sent there, so it’s best to check regularly. I’ve found several comments from people in there.

Thanks for enjoying my poem. The guy who got put in Spam is someone with whom I frequently comment and reply on both our sites so it was a little joke, because he can be naughty; he is a great poet with a beautiful site.

Love the photo. Horses with that glass. Beautiful. What is even more beautiful are the words you put into it. Lovely poetry. Thanks for sharing.
