Hurrah a New Blogging Class

I started blogging because the members of the writing circle I joined suggested it, but I didn’t know how to start.  The writer’s centre – Katharine Susannah Prichard Writers’ Centre, was having a class called Blogging 101.  I attended, I loved it; it not only answered all my questions it was fantastic.

I went home and within a few hours I had started this blog (Yes there is someone to blame apart from me).  But as you can probably tell there are a lot (an incredibly huge amount) of blogging stuff that I don’t understand.

Best news today!  They are having a follow up class this Saturday and the next.  The cost is $50, unbelievably cheap & that’s from a dyed in the wool skinflint (yeah yeah fine but sci fi memorabilia are a part of a completely different sickness, you should see me cheap out on groceries).

I am tempted not to post until I’ve attended class and learned how to!  But if I’m doing it wrong I will have wasted this typing; LOL.  Any who, I have to post this to get suggestions:  What do I need to learn about blogging?  And you can use weird terms because we are taking our computers so I can point (using my flesh and blood actual hand) at things I don’t understand.

I know you may be confused because yes I am a nerd.  But computers and especially social media is so user friendly; yuck yuck blah.  And I’m forty five, in years, I am old.  I know Pascall (It’s a computer language we used before Microsoft you… youngsters).

So I reiterate, what don’t I know about blogging?  Please answer before Saturday next week because after that I will yet again be left with only my own brain to figure this out.

Yah, I’m going to Blogging class!

    1. Having attended both for the first time this year writer’s circles and associated workshops are fantastic. Informative certainly but also supportive and great fun! Good luck finding one, if not you could start one!
